Cink has demons to battle when he makes his return to Southern Hills - the scene of his 2001 US Open heartache. Six years ago Cink missed a 12 foot putt on the final green and, thinking his chances of victory had gone, didn't bother to take care with his two-foot tap-in for bogey and missed. But with Retief Goosen missing a tiddler of his own, Cink was left with the knowledge that had he knocked in his simple return putt he would have made a play-off. Carrying that baggage could be a problem but if Cink can shake it off he should contend again. He obviously likes the course and a sixth place at Carnoustie last month proves that he still remains a strong player in the majors.
