Tiger Woods (68 - 278): "I did not get off to a very good start again today. I was 2 over early and made it there on 7, some miracle fluke shot, should have been about 20 feet past but went in, so got lucky. From there I really played some good golf. I hit some good golf shots from there on in. I wish I would have gotten off to a better start. This golf course ain't easy, especially the first seven holes. I wish I could have shot a couple more shots lower and posted that, but you never know."

Paul McGinley (69 - 283): "It's amazing. I only had one three-putt and I made all of the two and three-footers, right in the centre every time. But the 12, 15, 20, 30, 40-footers haven't gone in. There's a goalkeeper in there and he's playing great! I have to say I've struggled reading the greens - normally one of my strengths - but the big positive I take away is that I've played three major championships this year, have putted moderately in all three and I'm still going to be within 10 shots of winning each of them."
