USPGA PROFILE
Phil Mickelson gets a final chance in 2005 to add to his lone major title but comes to Baltusrol on the back of a run of rather puzzling indifferent form. That is hard to believe considering how he started 2005 with three wins before the Masters in April but his game of late has been well below expectations with him virtually unsighted at both the US and British Opens. That said, the left-hander is impossible to rule out totally on a traditional-style course that should suit.
