| One of the mysteries of modern golf remains how Davis Love has only secured one major championship. That is the case though, but it did come in this event back in 1997 at Winged Foot when he strolled home by five shots from Justin Leonard. His 2005 campaign continues winless but he has come close on a couple of occasions to ending a drought that now stretches back two years. That said, he remains an elite performer in the game and few are more sensational to watch when on song. |
