Not many players come as close to major titles in their careers as DiMarco did in this event 12 months ago and then again at the Masters back in April. Both times he suffered the heartbreak of defeat in playoffs but on neither occasion did he do anything wrong with only the might of Vijay Singh and Tiger Woods getting the better of him. He should be able to draw on the positives from both those efforts and perhaps this time the cards might fall in his favour.
