| After missing the cut when attempting to defend his Masters crown at Augusta in April, Weir's efforts in the major championships during 2004 have been excellent. A fourth at Shinnecock Hills and a ninth at Troon is solid form by anyone's standards and the Canadian will be looking to make a bold bid once again. He has not missed the cut in five attempts in the PGA and two top 10s make pleasing reading. Weir can be a match for anyone when on song and his prospects look bright once again. |
