USPGA PROFILE
Since a marvellous spell duing mid-2003, Perry has re-invented himself as one of the most consistent players in the world. His closest encounter with a major title came back in 1996 at this very event but ultimately he had to settle for second after a play-off with Mark Brooks at Valhalla. Perry has posted more high finishes during a recent busy schedule but a break since the Buick Open should seen him nicely refreshed and a bold bid from the Kentuckian is predicted.
