| Micheel boasts a perfect record at the US PGA Championship having sprung a shock win on his debut 12 months ago. He gallantly fought off the challengers in the final round to beat Chad Campbell and his seven iron to about an inch from the cup on the 72nd hole sealed the success in most dramatic fashion. Micheel has not performed too badly since his elevation to major champion status but equally has not looked like adding to that sole title on the PGA Tour. He will be under more scrutiny this week as defending champion but capturing lightning in a bottle again seems unlikely. |
