| Bar a good performance at Troon in the Open, Clarke is enduring a rather poor run of form in the middle part of the season. The Ulsterman is not averse to trying new equipment or strategies but sometimes give the impression that he is tying himslef in knots in a bid to find a consistent winning formula. Clarke is not without a chance this week if putting his best foot forward but his PGA record to date does not make pleasant reading with five missed cuts out of six. |
