| USPGA PROFILE |
 |
| Stephen Ames finally lifted the great weight he has been shouldering on the PGA Tour by winning the recent Cialis Western Open to break his duck in America. The victory was not before time either as he has proved himself to be a tremendously consistent player over the years - a fact clearly illustrated in 2004 with no less than nine top-10 finishes. Three missed cuts have unfortunately followed but Ames could find himself at the right end of the leaderboard if taking to the links of Whistling Straits. |
