Graeme McDowell's first-ever round in a major championship in America included a two-stroke penalty.

The Northern Irishman had his three-over-par 75 changed to a 77 after it came to light that on the 15th hole his caddie was raking a bunker while he had still to play his second shot out of it.

A bogey five on the hole became a triple-bogey seven as a result.
