| USPGA PROFILE |
 |
| It is conceivable that Tiger Woods could go a full season without a Major title to his name. Despite his on-going spat with the media about whether he is in a slump, 2003 has not been a total washout as the world number one has four victories to his credit. The Achilles heel has been from the tee box but he has reverted to his original Titleist driver which will not only improve accuracy but allow him to shape the ball more efficiently. There is less of an awe of invincibility surrounding him at the moment so there are plenty of his peers ready to take advantage of the slightest error. But Woods firing on three or four cylinders still has the game to contend in any Major event and he will be desperate not to end the year empty handed in that department. |
