USPGA PROFILE
Jim Furyk's magnificent year shows no signs of slowing and the US Open champion notched his second win of 2003 with a gutsy display to win the Buick Open. Pursued on the final day by a gaggle of players, including Tiger Woods, he kept his composure superbly to win by two and ensure his confidence is sky high going into the final Major. There are few, if any, flaws in his whole game at the moment and an iron resolution when the chips are down means he is sure to be a leading candidate for the prize this week.
