Padraig Harrington (73): "The ankle's all strapped up and everything, but I've hit it everywhere these two days and I'm struggling. I've had treatment, but it seems to have flared up. I stood on a branch or something during the Dutch Open and I keep hoping it will go away, but it hasn't yet. I've very happy with the way I've scored considering, but I was obviously hoping to be closer to the lead than I am."
Nick Faldo (76): "It was a confidence-shattering day. I didn't feel good on the range and I couldn't handle it out on the course. I just played lousy. I didn't feel comfortable and there were too many poor shots. I struggled with my posture and all sorts of things - and here you're trying to land the ball on a dime. I'll try to replay it and try to work out why it was not feeling good."
Colin Montgomerie (78): "It's just been frustrating. I'm just not holing putts. One birdie in two days speaks for itself. There's nothing to report really."
Tom Dalby (94): "If I had been healthy and shot these scores I would have been more upset and more embarrased. I feel sorry for the alternate (reserve) who did not get in. It wasn't fair to him. Every time I bent over I got the spasms even worse. These are by far my worst two-round ever in competition that I can remember."
