USPGA PROFILE
Furyk has done well in this tournament over the past few seasons with last year's seventh place finish in Atlanta his third top ten finish in his last five attempts in the final major of the year. After struggling with his game in the early part of the year Furyk bounced back to form in June, landing the Memorial after a late final round charge and posting a 10 finish at the Buick Classic. However, he has only been seen out three times since, with the American Ryder Cup star once again struggling with his form. He missed consecutive cuts in the US Open and the British Open, before finishing tied 10th in last week's Buick Open. A man of his golfing ability must never be ruled out and it would be no great shock to see him at the top of the leaderboard come Sunday night.
