USPGA PROFILE
Since joining the majors club by winning the 1997 Open at Troon, the USPGA has looked the most likely place for Leonard to add a second. He very nearly won it in the same season as his Open win, eventually finishing runner-up to Davis Love at Winged Foot. Aside from that he's posted three other top tens, the most recent a tied 10th in Atlanta last year. This season, Leonard has added consistency to his game and between March and June he reeled off six successive top 20s which included a victory in the Worldcom Classic. He's also made the top 20 in all three of the 2002 majors so all the form suggests he'll be thereabouts come the finish. Whether he can actually win will depend on a hot putter as Hazeltine looks a little long for him.
