USPGA PROFILE
Singh has been a regular challenger in the majors over the last six or seven years and deserves huge credit for winning two in the Tiger era. The first came in the 1998 USPGA at Sahalee and he added a second at the 2000 Masters, confounding the critics who said his short game wasn't sharp enough to win at Augusta. He looked Tiger's biggest challenger at this year's Masters before shooting himself in the foot with a nine at the par five 15th. The Fijian workaholic has lost his way in recent months however and a missed cut in the British Open at Muirfield wasn't the surprise it would have been a couple of years ago.
