USPGA PROFILE
Since his win in the US Open at Tulsa last year, the shy South African has won six more times, becoming the first non-European to win the Order of Merit since Greg Norman in 1982, earning over £3million and climbing into the world's top five. He confirmed himself as a top class player with a second place in this year's US Masters, and despite missing the cut when trying to defend his US Open crown, he hit back with a top ten in the British Open at Muirfield. His record in the USPGA is poor - three missed cuts and a best of tied 37th in five starts - but it would be foolish to write off a player who has made such giant strides over the last couple of years.
