USPGA PROFILE
After several seasons of consistent excellence, which briefly saw him take over as world number one, Duval has become a complete enigma. For the last couple of years he's been a constant disappointment and yet in amongst the missed cuts and three-putts he produced a wonderful performance to land the British Open - his first major - at Royal Lytham last year. Duval made a solid defence at Muirfield last month and will now hope to build on that performance by challenging here. He's finished in the top ten in his last two USPGA outings so he's clearly a big threat this week and if he can start fast Duval could put the poor form behind him and land his second major.
