The smooth and stylish Australian Adam Scott is in the queue of rising stars attempting to dethrone Tiger Woods sometime soon. However he has a limited record in the US Open with a 21st at Winged Foot last year his best in four attempts. But he has challenged strongly in other Majors over the last two years and will surely have been inspired by fellow Aussie Geoff Ogilvy's triumph 12 months ago. Enjoyed a mixed season despite winning the Houston Open in April but produced decent efforts in most of the main events of 2007 including a sixth in the PLAYERS Championship and fifth at the Memorial.
