Michael Campbell (69): "It's just amazing. For the last nine holes I was telling myself 20 times on every hole 'keep your focus, keep your focus'. I was thinking about my wife and two children and my family back at home.
Happy Father's Day, Dad. I've worked very, very hard for this and had ups and downs my whole career,
but it's worth the work. I can't believe I'm holding this."
Tiger Woods (69): "Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. I didn't feel comfortable with my putter all week. It was frustrating because I could never get the speed right. If you can't get the speed right, you can't get the line right, because speed determines line. I struggled with my speed all week.
Sergio Garcia (70): "I was thinking I would have to shoot 65 or 66 and I really could have got it too. I feel like I shot the highest I could have done, but you've got to get breaks and make a couple of putts here or there."
Tim Clark (70): "I really enjoy coming to the majors, it gets me up to play golf. And I like the setups. I like the tougher setups, where you've got to be accurate off the tee, and you've got to hit a lot of good shots. And like I say, the last few weeks my putting has been great, and that's really kept me in good rounds"
Phil Mickelson (74): "The biggest problem? I just didn't score that well. I had a bad nine hole stretch that kind of took me out of it."
Nick Dougherty (75): "It's been a very good experience and I've got a taste of what major championship golf is all about. The patience required is different to any other tournament. Drop a stroke and you just have to accept it and move on. Relish the challenge is the best way to put it and they key is to enjoy it."
Jonathan Lomas (75): "It's a good exam and shows up your faults. I'm leaving with a lot of confidence. The way I played I feel I could easily have finished top 30. It's frustrating when you hit a shot and you know it's going to go in a dodgy place, but you can make birdies."
Retief Goosen (81): "What can I say. Obviously I messed this up badly. I threw this away but I’ll be back next year."
Jason Gore (84): "There was nothing I could do - I just couldn't stop the bleeding. I just got off to a terrible start, but I'll be back to try again."
