US OPEN PROFILE
The Canadian made his breakthrough on the Major front with victory in the 2003 Masters and has since defended his title successsfuly at the Nissan Open in Los Angeles. A missed cut back at Augusta in 2004 sparked a run of indifferent events but the likeable left-hander is more than capable of hitting form again - particularly on the weeks that matter. He was third behind Jim Furyk 12 months ago and another high finish would come as no surprise from this proven performer on the big stage.
