| Vijay Singh enjoyed a quite phenomenal year in 2004, winning nine times and collecting a third major title at the USPGA at Whistling Straits. The Fijian has shown no signs of taking his foot off the gas either after securing another three titles in the first half of the year and displaying a quite amazing amount of consistency week-in and week-out. By his standards, his recent record in the US Open is no more than fair but a return to the venue of his best finish in the event could see an sudden upturn in his fortunes. |
