| Chad Campbell perhaps felt a little reaction to his stellar effort in 2003 by starting the new season in fairly low-key fashion. But that all changed at the Bay Hill Invitational when he ruthlessly hunted down Stuart Appleby in the final round to post a memorable success. He came close again at Colonial when pipped by Steve Flesch and the signs are he is going to improve vastly on his US Open record to date. There are not many players around who can better his laser-like accuracy with an iron club and his approach play to the greens is sure to be a highlight of the tournament. |
