| US OPEN PROFILE |
 |
| Appleby has become one of the most accomplished players in the world and added the Mercedes Championship to his collection - the very first event on the PGA Tour in 2004. Renowned as an extremely determined competitor who rarely lets a winning opportunity slip by, it was a huge surprise to see him relinquish a four-shot advantage at Bay Hill in March. His form has been disappointing ever since - hardly the ideal preparation in the build-up to a Major championship. |
