US OPEN PROFILE
Perry's US Open odds have come tumbling down after magnificent back-to-back wins at the Bank of America Colonial and the Memorial Tournament in his last two starts. His confidence going into a Major has never been so high and if his hotstreak continues he would be a dangerous customer. Perry has already gone mighty close to winning a Major, losing a play-off to Mark Brooks at the 1996 USPGA. The US Open has not been a happy hunting ground though and his tied 45th last year was his best since a top 25 in 1993. It should be a different story this year however and Perry, as the hottest player in America, needs to be watched closely by his rivals.
