US MASTERS PROFILE
After a brilliant amateur career which saw him win 13 college tournaments in the States and play a starring role in the 1999 and 2001 Walker Cups, the young Englishman is starting to make a big mark on the pro ranks too. Already a winner on both sides of the Atlantic, Donald almost claimed his biggest prize yet when just one shot behind winner Fred Funk at the recent Players Championship. As a debutant at the Masters, history is against him but no-one would be surprised to see the smooth-swinging Donald make an excellent impression on his first trip to Augusta.
