| US MASTERS PROFILE |
 |
| Cink has become one of the most consistent players on Tour and the big question now is whether the 31-year-old can add a Major to his CV. He came mightily close at the 2001 US Open when losing out in agonising circumstances. Feeling his chance had gone, Cink rushed a short putt and missed. Had he holed it he would have got into the play-off with Retief Goosen and Mark Brooks. That is in his past now and Cink, the number one player on the putting stats in 2004, could well emerge as a strong contender this week. He's a Georgia native and has built up a solid bank of Augusta experience with five finishes inside the top 28 in seven starts. |
