US MASTERS PROFILE
As a 10-year-old, Howell once shot 79 at Augusta National and his love affair with the Masters has grown ever since. He was born a stone's throw from the course and once said: "I've made it clear that's the one tournament I would want to win over any other tournament in the world. I consider Augusta National hallowed ground." Howell has finished 28th and 29th in his first two Masters and will hope to get right in the mix this time. His 2004 form is disappointing with nothing better than a tied 15th but he has the talent to produce something special out of nowhere.
