| Darren Clarke remains one of the most talented yet frustrating golfers on the planet. Perhaps this is best illustrated by his appearance at Augusta last year when he led after a superb first round only to fade away over the closing three days. He is hoping that a new fitness regime will help solve some of the problem but a slimmed-down Clarke in 2004 has not managed to eradicate those damaging shots which are holding him back from being a regular contender at the highest level. But when he does get things right at an event, few would doubt he has the ability to get his hands on that Green Jacket. |
