| US MASTERS PROFILE |
 |
| Jack Nicklaus once claimed that Tiger Woods would win more green jackets than his and Arnold Palmer's combined tally of ten. Well, it's three and counting after last year's three-shot win and this year Tiger is looking to become the first player to win the Masters three times in a row. Woods' first start at Augusta as a pro saw him break records galore on the way to a stunning 12-shot victory in 1997. And his Masters triumph in 2001 made him the first player to hold all four Majors at the same time. Woods has been in imperious form in 2003 after wins at the Buick Invitational, the Accenture World Match Play and the Bay Hill Invitational. And, despite a slight wobble at the Players Championship last time, he deservedly remains the red-hot favourite to land a ninth major title. |
