Tiger Woods (71): "My game plan was to shoot under par on both nines. I figured
that eliminated some of the guys from making the run.
"With Retief struggling at the start (he bogeyed the first, fourth and eighth
by three-putting each time) I just wanted to keep playing solid.
"Back-to-back wins are awfully special. For some reason this one seemed
harder. My legs are a little bit tired - I'm that bit older now."
Phil Mickelson (71): "I'm not overly disappointed. I felt I got a couple of
unfortunate breaks early on to stop my momentum. But I had a fun week."
Padraig Harrington (71): "Considering my grip drove me up the wall all week and I didn't hole that many putts I can't be unhappy."
Ernie Els (73): "I made a terrible swing on the 13th and it cost me the tournament. It was not through the lack of trying, though.
"I got greedy. I tried to hook a three-wood round the corner and it's not the
shot to play any more (it is another of the lengthened holes). I knew that
before the tournament."
Retief Goosen (74): "My irons were terrible and those three three-putts put me
down."
