Leonard was just 25 years old when putting his name on the Claret Jug at Troon in 1997 and almost repeated the feat two years later when losing in a three-way play-off at Carnoustie. It means he's always one to look out for in the Open and heads to St Andrews with two wins under his belt on the US Tour this season - the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in January and the FedEx St. Jude Classic in late May. A slight negative is that he hasn't really performed in his two St Andrews Opens, finishing tied 56th in 1995 and tied 41st in 2000.
