WOODS CLOSING IN ON JACK'S RECORD
Tiger Woods has reached 10 majors in just 35 attempts as a professional - six
fewer than Jack Nicklaus, whose total of 18 is the ultimate target for the world
number one.
Nicklaus was 32 years old when he went into double figures at the 1972
Masters. Woods is not 30 until the end of December.
