| Vijay took Tiger's Money List crown last year and now wants to replace him as world number one. That's a massive task but Singh has gone about it the right away with a string of high finishes and back-to-back victories in the spring - both strangely coming on a Monday after weather delays extended the tournaments. He has recorded a mixed bag of performances at the Open with missed cuts intertwined with high finishes - his effort here at Troon back in 1997 was one of the more moderate results. Impossible to rule out, the better the weather the better his chance. |
