  • McIlroy birdied the 16th in round three which moved him to seven-under and two clear of Singh.
  • Justin Rose made a birdie start to the final round, helping him move back to level par.
  • Phil Mickelson bounced back from his bogey at the 1st with a birdie at the second hole but couldn't make a charge.
  • Ian Poulter made a sensational final round charge, making birdies at the first five holes, but lost momentum on the back nine.
  • Steve Stricker secured a top seven finish after a solid final round.
  • Carl Pettersson birdied the third, fourth and fifth to move up to -5 but was penalised two shots at the first.
  • Justin Rose wore gold in round four in honour of Team GB's great performance at The Olympics. He shone too, carding a 66 to finish T3.
  • David Lynn was the big surprise of the week and finished in solo second after a closing 68.
  • Poulter eventually finished tied third with Rose, Pettersson and defending champ Keegan Bradley.
  • Masters champ Bubba Watson closed with a birdie to post a 68 and finish tied 11th.
