The first round of the Viking Classic was delayed for the second consecutive day after rain again made the Annandale Country Club course unplayable.
With the persistent rain forecast to continue into Friday night officials have announced that there will be no play until Sunday at the earliest.
An inspection of the sodden course will be conducted on Saturday morning with an announcement on when play, if any, will commence due at midday local time.
"Unfortunately, our situation is getting worse, and we are just going to have to wait and see what tomorrow brings," PGA Tour's vice president of rules and competitions Slugger White said.
"We are going to come out and reassess the golf course and - just see what the overnight brings us. It's rather dismal.
"There is no fooling anybody with that. So it's something we have to look at and I just don't want to speculate on anything until tomorrow when we look at it again."
