Mike Weir won the Tour Championship in Houston after a four-way play-off.
The Canadian collected a cheque for £615,000 after edging out Ernie Els,
Sergio Garcia and David Toms.
Weir sank a seven-foot birdie putt at the 18th hole - the first of sudden
death - to earn his third career title.
He held a one-shot lead going to the 72nd but bogeyed it for a three-under
round of 68, and a four-round total of 14-under 270.
World number one Tiger Woods, who won his third consecutive money title, tied
for 13th at eight-under 276.
