The Ulsterman held off challenges from Sergio Garcia and Rickie Fowler on the final day at Hoylake, crossing the line two shots clear having led by six overnight.
The firm's chief golf odds compiler John Rhodes said: "Rory loves St Andrews and we have gone 7/1 favourite about McIlroy at this stage.
"He has never shot in the 70s in a competitive round at the Home of Golf so he will just hope to keep those 80s off his card in 12 months time."
Closer to hand, McIlroy is 6/1 market leader for next month's USPGA, the final major of the 2014 campaign.
Rhodes added: "Valhalla will be perfect for Rory too and there must be every chance he can win his fourth career major in three weeks time."
