Ian Poulter has so far made an excellent defence of his title at the HSBC Champions in Shanghai and looks poised for a push for glory on the final day.
The Englishman's scores have improved by the day and an excellent nine-under-par 63 on Saturday has seen him vault into second place behind Dustin Johnson.
The criticism has often been levelled at Poulter that he does not win enough but he genuinely represents a man to have on your side when in contention and if he does not come out on top, it will not be down to a lack of bottle.
Poulter is a prolific user of Twitter and the signs have been there this week that his game is very close indeed, tweeting on Friday that a low round was imminent.
That duly arrived on Saturday and though there is a general perception it is tough follow up a low number, I get the impression Poulter is not going to relinquish his title without a good scrap.
He has three shots to make up on Johnson on a course that has some dangerous holes and a potential Ryder Cup-style showdown against the American with the prize up for grabs should enthuse Poulter further.
Sky Bet have Price Boosted his odds to 9/2 for the win only and that looks a reasonable play.
