| THE OPEN PROFILE |
 |
| The world number 11 has enjoyed a sensational summer so far winning back-to-back at Colonial and The Memorial and last week's Milwaukee Open. He also proved himself at the 'majors' with an excellent tied for third at the US Open. Whether he is able to continue that sort of form at Royal St George's is another question - he clearly did not enjoy his missed cut at Birkdale in 1991 and has not been back since! Perry's approach is based on accuracy from the tee and solid iron play so unless the wind really blows, he should have the game to do well. |
