Sergio Garcia cannot wait for the final round of the Open - or the next time
he produces a roar as big as the one at the 17th in his third round.
The 23-year-old made what he called "the greatest par of my life", almost
losing his ball in the rough and then holing a 67-yard pitch and run.
After finishing in joint third place on one over par - two behind leader
Thomas Bjorn - Garcia revealed that he had not felt well earlier in the day.
"My stomach was shaky, but I got over it and hung in there as hard as I
could," he said.
"I'm really pleased with the way I finished because it was a bit of a
struggle, but this is what we practise for and it feels good to be up there.
"I've been working hard on my game and it seems like it's starting to pay
off."
Garcia underwent changes to his swing despite top-10 finishes in all four
majors last year.
