The Open Championship is beautifully poised ahead of what should be a gripping final round with a whole host of players in with a chance.

Tiger Woods (one-over-par) heads the betting on 7/4 with both Blue Square and Ladbrokes but can be backed at 9/4 with Sporting Odds.

The World number one is two shots behind Thomas Bjorn after the Dane fired an excellent 69.

He is a general 4/1 chance to convert his big chance and land a first major title.

Bettingzone followers will be cheering on Sergio Garcia.

Recommended at 50/1 ante-post, the Spaniard chipped in for par on 17 from 60 yards in quite dramatic style and stands alongside Woods at one-over.

He is 9/1 with Bet365 but as short as 6/1 with Ladbrokes.

Overnight leader Davis Love III produced a battling 72 and is level par - Ladbrokes go 4/1 while Sporting Odds are a more generous 6/1.

Ernie Els has plenty of work to do from five-over-par and can be backed at 50/1 with Victor Chandler.
