BRITISH OPEN PROFILE
The former world number one twice took the USPGA titles in the 90s, along with The Open at Turnberry back in 1994. His five-shot win in the MasterCard Colonial back in May - shows he's not finished with yet and still has the class to contend in the Majors. Produced his best Open performance since his 94 win at Lytham last year when he finished 21st. In his last six tournaments on the US Tour has not been out of the top 20. His eighth place at the US Open last month suggests he is likely to go well this week, and it would be no surprise to see the veteran Zimbabwean at the top end of the leaderboard. With all his experience Price is one man who would not be daunted with a potential final round head-to-head battle with Tiger Woods.
