BRITISH OPEN PROFILE
Singh is a perennial threat in the Majors and is the only man to have won two in the Tiger era. The first came in the 1998 USPGA at Sahalee and he added a second at the 2000 Masters, confounding the critics who said his short game wasn't sharp enough to win at Augusta. He looked Tiger's biggest challenger at this year's Masters before shooting himself in the foot with a nine at the par five 15th. The Fijian workaholic, played in Europe for seven years before switching to America so he can handle the conditions and knows how to flight his ball lower in the wind. Has posted top 15 finishes in the last two Opens at Lytham at St Andrews and likely to be lurking near the leaders this time around. In his last start he finished 15th in the Advil Western Open and if Singh can make a good start, he could be one man capable of stopping Tiger's domination.
