USPGA PROFILE
The former world number one twice took the USPGA titles in the 90s. His first victory coming at Bellerive in 1992 and then again at Southern Hills in 1994, when he also won the British Open. Although he hasn't quite found that level of form again he still deserves respect in any USPGA Championship. This will be his 18th. Surprisingly, he missed the cut in both the US Masters and the US Open this year but did show a return to form with a good showing in the British Open where he finished tied 22nd. Earlier in the year he caught the eye with a top ten in the Players Championship and a tied third at the Byron Nelson, and even though he's not getting any younger, still has the class to win another Major title.
