9th, 352 yards, par 4. Downwind it's within range, but there is gorse
lining the left and Boase's and End Hole bunkers are in the centre of the shared
fairway. Tony Jacklin pitched in here to complete an outward 29 at the start of
his title defence in 1970. The first single green since the first is flat and
round like a pancake and the name signifies the end of the outward half.
