5th, 568 yards, par 5 (Hole o'Cross). Named either after the deep gulley short of the green or the existence once of a cross. The wind will determine what line is attempted. A cluster of bunkers down the right makes left more tempting, but the ground is rougher there. The Spectacles bunkers are 50 yards short of a green which is an amazing 100 yards deep, so clubbing is all-important.
