I can envisage a breakaway because it has happened before.
The grandee teams split under the FISA/FOCA row and that was against Bernie Ecclestone by the teams who allied themselves with the governing body and they incluided Ferrari and Renault.
They came back together eventually when they all saw sense.
The teams dropped this potential action of a separate championship a year ago after agreement had been reached with Bernie Ecclestone according to GPWC but then nothing happened.
Now the gloves are off again and GPWC is back on again.
The teams are now saying they are the major part of the show and they are only taking a small percentage of the TV money.
They want a bigger share of the cake and it is is a huge bone of conetnon between Bernie and the manufacturers because he says, look this my show.
I built it from scratch, their cars have been in my showroom for years and now they want more space.
So you can see both sides of the argument of course but at the same time, it's very diffciult for a lot of the teams who are struggling when they see they are not sharing in the other revenues from the sport.
Whether it's trackside advertising or other promotions, it's mainly only TV money that they get share of.
