Well, it's been on the cards for so long but at last Michael Schumacher clinched the world drivers' crown at Spa.
It was a foregone conmclusion and almost went by without much fanfare.
The only man that could have beaten him was Rubens Barrichello and I don't think Rubens was going to beat him around there.
The main thing there for Schuamcher once it had sunk in afterwards was that was his home track Spa.
It's over the border in Belgium but it's the nearest track in distance over the border to his home in Kerpen.
And I think it was hard for him to take it all in afterwards and once it did sink in, the enormity of what he had done, the significance of Spa and the wonderful, wonderful achievement of Ferrari in their 700th Grand Prix
put it all into perspective.
I think the disappointing thing was that the team locked themselves away in their motorhome for their celebrations.
We never got to see them enjoying this triumph and the media never got to take their pictures.
They should have opened their doors afterwards and embraced everybody.
